OSHA Awareness Training
Focusing on common causes of workplace injuries and key health risks, these awareness-building modules include participant hand-outs that highlight risks and promote prevention, most in 1 hour sessions, including—
• OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogen Standard: Participants learn how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to prevent exposures and what to do if an exposure occurs.
• Workplace Violence Awareness: Realistic scenarios help participants recognize impending workplace violence and learn ways to ensure their personal safety and security.
• Ergonomics Awareness: Participants learn to reduce repetitive stress injuries by improving posture, rearranging work areas, using proper tools and doing simple exercises. 
• Slips, Trips & Falls: Topics include the causes of accidents and remedies for common hazards, plus practical advice on shoe selection, ladder safety and injury prevention programs.
• Back Injury Prevention: Beginning with back anatomy, participants learn to assess the causes of their personal back pain and learn how posture, stretching and safe lifting skills can reduce the risk of injury.
• Records and Reporting for Injury and Illness (OSHA 300 Logs):
Learn the rules and forms for reporting illness and injuries in the workplace. Required records to include a work-related injury or illness resulting in one of the following: death, days away from work, restricted work or transfer to another job, medical treatment
beyond first aid, loss of consciousness, or diagnosis of a significant injury or illness by a physician or other licensed health care professional.
• Managing Stress: Facts on the causes of stress, self-quizzes and discussion help individuals recognize their stressors and develop personal stress-reduction strategies for work and personal lives.
• Your Heart Matters: Targeting primary lifestyle risk factors, including smoking, diet and exercise, this module helps people take steps to adopt healthier behaviors and reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.
